[In the wake of the temporospatial shenanigans that Route has been experiencing over the past couple of days, a lot of people have been acting... peculiar. True to form, Henry consults much smarter people for the explanation.]
hey
why is everyone asking these weird questions all of a sudden?
[That's it. That's the post.]

hahaha
Date: 2014-12-07 03:02 am (UTC)Hardware is basically the materials use to make machines, like this PokeGear. Things like wires, plastic and metals.
Programming is an basically writing an order via typing (like how we're communicating) in a specific language to tell machines how to do a task under a criteria. Like if you have it count money, you can order it to send an alert saying "YOU'RE BROKE" if it falls under a certain number.
Re: hahaha

Date: 2014-12-08 08:56 pm (UTC)What kind of magic was it?
no subject
Date: 2014-12-10 03:44 am (UTC)elemental magic is easy, you just point your finger at the thing and BOOM, it's on fire/hit by electrcity/frozen/whatever
but dark magic, you have sets of ingredients and recipes for creating certain spells, and every ingredient does a different thing. its like giving commands.
and if you don't get everything right, something awful usually happens. hee hee.

Date: 2014-12-12 01:31 am (UTC)The ingredients part makes it sounds like a witch's magic from the stories. Like with newt's eye, plants with weird names and animal parts.
"Something awful", like voodoo curses?
no subject
Date: 2014-12-12 05:14 am (UTC)mostly "something awful" is that magic Backfiring Horribly and probably turning you into a subhuman monstrosity. or, at the very least, giving you a real nasty curse.
but yeah, thats some pretty standard issue stuff. i kind of try to avoid animal parts unless the animals are already dead, though, or i've at least asked their permission to kill them first.

Date: 2014-12-14 04:59 am (UTC)Er, ahem.]
Oooh, right. I generally hear about magic backfiring on people who are not experts at it.
Wait, asked them for permission first? I'd think most animals would say "no" to that.
no subject
Date: 2014-12-14 06:01 am (UTC)magic can backfire on ANYONE. that's what you get for messing with ~the power of the arcane~, sometimes things just don't go your way
...uh, yeah, well
most of them do say no. so i end up having to use the remains of animals that are already dead
but sometimes they say yes!

Date: 2014-12-15 02:08 am (UTC)[Sorry, Naoya.]
"Sometimes they say yes"?
Only way I can see that is if they're already dying or it's better to get mercy killed.

Date: 2014-12-15 02:21 am (UTC)sometimes that's what's happening

Date: 2014-12-21 04:58 am (UTC)Since I get that there's all sorts of situations around.
