Anyway! There's two kinds of magic, elemental and dark. Elemental is basically controlling the stuff you can see; fire, air, water, and earth are the most common, but there's a lot of other things you can do, mhm. Likewise, dark magic focuses on all the stuff you can't see -- minds, sleep, dreams, death, all that good stuff. Dark magic is waaaaay harder to study because it's hard for most people to get a magical grip on things they can't see!
