Embers was a Vulpix born and raised in Rocket captivity, and though her owners never gave her a name, she took one for herself. This is the primary reason why she isn't called by a terrible pun. (She also likes to think that she has more pride than that.) Embers has become Henry's de-facto tutor in all things technology, since he can't make heads or tails of it himself. She isn't terribly fond of him -- seeing as she consistently calls him 'cretin' -- but has an obligation to work for him since she doesn't know him well enough to risk misbehaving... and, of course, the Rocket microchip helps as well.

A number of Goldenrod-native wild Murkrows who have a tendency to follow Henry around town. He has not actually captured any of them, but has named them all. (WIP)

Chariot is a little Skorupi with big dreams. He loves a good, clean Pokémon battle, and his goal in life is to kick everyone's ass. He'll kick your ass! He'll kick Henry's ass! He'll kick his own ass! ...Anyway. Before meeting Chariot, Henry wasn't too keen on this whole Pokémon battling thing. But the little guy was so excited about it that he really couldn't say no. So now he's doing Gym battles and all that stuff, and Chariot gets to be in every single one of them. (Even the ones he'll probably lose.)

Unlike his original trainer (who is an asshole the likes of which have never been seen, at least according to Henry), Ator is a happy and gentle soul. He likes physical contact, like being held or just snuggling up next to someone, and so has endeared himself to the rest of the group very quickly. Henry has learned the hard way why one should never, ever try to skritch an Espurr beneath the ears.
